Flea market in the 7th district of Vienna – 28.-29. September 2018 in Neubaugasse!

I’m obsessed with flea markets. I drive sometimes miles with the car to vistit a flea market. Lucky, me, this flea market is twice a year in May and September almost on our doorstep. A short walk to the location and then a walk through Neubaugasse. I only missed it twice: when my father was hit by a stroke and when my mother was in the middle of chemo therapy. So, yesterday I was celebrating Christmas-Easter-birthday-New Year together.

It’s not about buying, it’s about finding things, get inspirations and walk through history. But last May I did buy some things, which I really (more or less) like. I bought – again and of course – some photographs of women. I bought even photographs in Padua during our summer holidays in July ’17. Yes, I found and vistited a flea market in Padua too. It’s an addiction and I will never get clean! Last May I got a „new-old“ collectible set of porcelain for the office. And I bought an old cylindrical card box box – maybe from an apothecary – for powder or something like that. Meanwhile I’m sure it contained tabacco! I was right, my friend loved this little box. Maybe she will not notice, that there is a new old 1960s-china-set with too much gold in the office!
