Orto Botanico di Padova (founded in 1545) – is the original of all botanical gardens throughout the world. I spent in this garden a couple of hours in July 2017 – hunting with my camera for rarities and beauties. If I would live in Padua I would be a regular visitor.
Taking pictures of flowers is very relaxing. They never complain, don’t try to escape, develop bad mood or behavior. I love especially water plants like water lilies. They are always calm beauties and they don’t swing with the wind.
By the way we planned our trip to Padua with the help of Vis-à-Vis Reiseführer Venedig & Veneto.
